Wierd sonds coming from motor i am hearing a loud clunking sound coming from the motor but it olny does it at idle, when the rpms go up to around 800 or higher it doesnt make anymore noise untill it does back down to about 500 rpm, is this a rod knocking? it is loud....please if anyone has had this problem or know what it is tell me

Re: Wierd sonds coming from motor Keep a wacth on your oil p.s.i., see if it is fluctuating. From what you said it sound likes a rod knock. You can try and see if it just might be an accesory if your lucky, take your belts off and start it up for a second and see if it still does it.
