ls6 intake on 6.0
Im swapping a Ls6 intake onto my 6.0 truck motor , Ive ordered a used one as well as a fuel rail and a Drive by wire TB. Will my 6.0 injectors work with the intake or should I go with a used set of Ls1 injectors? Im running this motor in its stock form , no cam swap etc. Just a LS6 intake and poss some headers.

Well dang after seeing its not that big of a performance plus for the amount of modifying, I will have to test and see if the 6.0 intake will clear the hood on my colorado , the damn thing is fugly but i can live with it if it fits. Might be a good excuse to get the cowl hood

The truck intake out flows the LS1 intake, but it does not out flow the LS6 intake. It has the same low end like an LS6, but chokes after 5500rpms. Look for a flow sheet posted by Richard from WCCH.
You will need passenger car accessories to run the LS6 intake, as the truck accessories will not work with the LS6 intake without modification.

Hmmm.
The truck intake has made over 500 rwhp on good engines. 12secSS, what makes you say it lays down above 5500?
It is one ugly-looking ***** though.

Oh, it will go to 500rwhp and/or 6500rpms, just like stock exhaust manifolds will. But if you look at the fuel map, you can clearly see where peak torque happens (roughly 4000-4500 rpms), after which the fuel map takes a dive. This represents an airflow restriction, as the cells passed 5500 rpms need to be much lower then that of an LS6 (for example). This is based on my experience tuning trucks, no disrespect to you OSS.
Edit: Granted, it is much better then an LS1 or LS2, but not better then an LS6 ... that was my point.
