6.0 Block..what need's to be changed??

I read a post on here a while ago..but can't find it anymore..about what all need's to be done in swapping a 6 liter motor into an f-body..I am building a 422 Iron motor and just need all the little details..the motor is no problem I have built many of LS1/LS6 combo's..but this is my 1st encounter with an iron block..something about the pickup not being the same..and will the aluminum block oil pan fit up correctly? any little problems i might run into please let me know :) Thank's,

Carter

I have just finished a 422 iron block. Only thing that was different is a hole need to be drilled and tapped for the outside alternator bolt. The middle one will no longer be used. Everything else matches right up. Make sure you sonic test the block before boring it out. It took me two tries to find the one I used.

if your going to use the A/C you might want to drill and tap a hole for the AC bracket (i just used the 3 holes instead the 4 )

They are correct. I looked all over and found that in the corvette application with no ac it was a direct replacement.(I use corvette brackets on the chevelle)
