cam swap parts?
I have decided to go with the TR 224 112 LSA. With a 98 TA with 45K on it and the basic bolt ons. I was wondering what parts are really a must when doing the swap. I know I would be getting the timing chain and oil pump for sure but what im more concerned about is the springs, rods, retainers, ect. Thunder Racing offers the cam swap package would yall suggest that and if so what about the retainers. Just trying to get everything staight...all advice is helpful.
thanks

for my cam swap i did tr230, rev duals with tit. retainers, TR hardened pushrods, TSP ported oil pump (with new o-ring), 2x rollmaster chain, ls6 intake, and asp pulley.
i bought the basic bolt and gasket kit from TSP, for 30. had all the basic gaskets and seals i needed and came with a new crank bolt.
what springs are you gonna use and if you can spend the money then i'd go for the tit. retainers. some comp 918's w/ stock retainers would be fine but me personally i'd go with the tit. retainers for strength and lightness.
