Brand New GM cylinder Head !!!??? Brand New GM Small Block Cylinder Head !!!??? It's hard to tell if it is for LS1 based cars

Judging by the URL, it looks like that press release is from November 2001, so I would imagine if it was for the LS1, we would know by now. It also says its a cast-iron head, which would be a departure from the LS1's usual aluminum heads.
Just my thoughts. I could very easily be wrong.
