This was my best dyno with cam only stock 241 heads. What do u guys think !!!

Arc00TA 06-25-2009 09:56 PM

Thats good power with 241s and a small cam. You should see 420+ with the heads.

corvet786c 06-26-2009 04:16 AM

What do u guys think of my dyno graph??

vettenuts 06-26-2009 04:24 AM

I am going to guess, you are currently running Crane 832 valve springs with the 1.8 rockers. I see valve train instability coming in at 6,000 RPM.

corvet786c 06-26-2009 04:28 AM

yea it is the 832's, but we only went to 6000 rpm.

Look very closely at the curve. The valve train is going unstable at 6,000 RPM. This is a common problem with those springs as they have a harmonic at 6,200 RPM (got that information directly from Crane). Since you are going with the 8019's that should go away after the heads are installed.

Hey dude forget you and your heads. If Isee you I'm gonna kick you so hard in the nuts your head gonna pop off. J/K Congrads. What size pushrods did you have for your head and cam with the stock 241 heads? I just bought a set of 241's that's been ported and milled .016 with PRC dual springs and a 226/228 .585/.588 LSA 112. I hope I'm close to the 400 hp mark.

Remember he is running Crane rockers which have a lower pushrod cup and therefore require shorter pushrods.
