I get tuned and dynoed tomorrow. See sig. Wish me luck everyone, I'm driving 4 hours to Tampa to get it done. I will post up after it's completed. I hear that Florida is a "low dyno" state, but I hope that's BS.
If I don't get 400+RWHP, I will be PISSED!

I'm not sure what to do yet, so I'm throwing out all kinds of ideas and trying to put it together into a nice package by the time I'm ready to spend the $$$

if your a stick Eastside performance can get you there with a cam and bolt-ons but if your an auto like myself you will need the heads. I made 420 hp/420tq through a TH400 and a 12 bolt...

Hey, what up neighbor?! Are the numbers crappy even when it cools off? I never dynoed in FL before. We're at sea level, so you'd think we'd hit our marks.
To get above 400 RWHP, I guess it would have to get down to the 50's.
Fat chance that happens down here....

Cool weather is greatly appreciated. Mid-August runs at the track are ugly.
Nice setup by the way.
Also, did you know that we have a dyno tuner here in South Florida?

Anyhow, I am stoked over these numbers. The car is beastly up top. The shop was warm (81 degrees, 67% humidity) and the dyno numbers are UNcorrected:
423HP/392TQ are numbers I can live with in the "Low Dyno State!"

On the way back from the dyno, this turbo Accord was pestering me and I tried to ignore him and his ghey passengers. So I gave him a taste (you know what happened) but slammed on my brakes because I closed in on traffic all-too-fast. The result was that I cracked the front lip of my battery bracket so the battery went flyin' around and it disconnected long enough to set a code.

The 400 rwhp mark is pretty subjective when it comes to head and cam packages. I have seen a few 216/220 cams with stage I heads with full boltons make the 400 rwhp mark with the stock 10 bolt and a T56. I know that is not the norm but it does happen on occasion just depending on many other variables. I recommend maybe not looking at the total hp output but what can you live with in terms of driveability and maintence and make a decision from there. Just some food for thought.
