Thanks for the comments guys. As for her age, yes we both look young for our age. She's 19 and I'm 21.
Ya she has been asking when were going to work on it again lol. I told her, well now I have to get all the parts to get it done. I have most of the parts, just gotta order all the gaskets, bearings, and piston rings. I will take pics of the car this weekend and add them to here.

I had my Fiance' help me drop the exhaust manifolds when I installed my LT's and again when I lowered the motor back onto the pedestals after installing poly motor mounts, but thats about the extent of her helping with the automobiles. I can say with confidence she has no desire to want to learn about the things that go on in the shop. And like others have said, I think I like it that way. LOL. Good luck with your build.

Did she actually pull that cam bare handed or was that photo posed? Pulling a cam is a tricky proposition and I wouldn't recommend a novice do it without gloves. Camshafts have a lot of very sharp edges and by the time you realize you've been cut it's too late. Best to wear gloves at least for a novice. By the way where did all that rust come from? The water pump looked good, but a lot of other parts were rust covered.

Ya guys she's a keeper. She did pull the cam out all by herself, and without gloves. No problems here, I think I may have cut myself once on the block.
She's been asking me if were still going to get the mustang this weekend. She said if I do that she's going to be helping me take it apart and clean it up.
I really want to throw a cam in there, but the money doesn't look to good for internal mods like that. Seeing as after pushrods, springs, seats, and gaskets I'm at like $600 . I would much rather put that into a nice rear end, or susp mods.
