good torque cam? got a 2000 ls1 10k on the motor with 241 heads .what is a good torque cam for this motor ?have 13/4 lt header,duel pipes with X pipe,ls6 intake ,spring/push rod upgrade,and a dyno tune.and a 3000 stall.

I just got the TSP Torquer v.2 cam.They say it makes amazing torque.As far as other cam well you have the GMPP ASA cam,you have your typical 224 cams.Pretty much any cam that has lift under 600 is going to be great for torque.All cams give your around the same HP 30-50.But the bigger you go the higher you move your RPMs the smaller you go the lower you move your RPMs.Sometimes HUGE cams will hurt you.Its all about what you want to do.

The biggest issue I see is with you stall. I currently have a tr224 and 3200 stall and I wish i had a little more stall. You dont want a decent medium/big cam bc you will have a dead spot from converter flash to where you make decent power. You want a cam that will pick up at where your converter can flash to. So my vote is somewhere around 220/220
Tell us about the rpm range you want to be at? I have tons of engine dyno data sheets that will help you to select a camshaft for your desired rpm range!

That poor test mule you got on the dyno is getting the workover with ALL the cam tests you guys have been doing. LOL When you guys going to do a lifter preload test like on a 228 cam and post the results? 7.375/7.400/7.425 lengths is what I think you should try?
