Default Fresh Rebuild on Motor

How long does it take for the rings to seat and how long before I can start boosting on it. Also I am having a oil leak issue at the back of the motor. I'm not sure if I have too much oil in the car or too much crankcase pressure do to the rings not seated or something else.

If you have a oil leak in the back of the moter I would pull the trans and check the rear main seal and cover gasket. As far as boosting the new moter I had my dyno tuned @ 10#'s with 300 miles on the engine. The big thing is to get some heat cycles on the engine and some high rpm revs will help seat the rings.
