Default Stroker 5.3 tell me what you guys think

http://www.schwankeshortblocks.com/S...rt%20Block.htm

So i found this and was a little interested a 388 5.3 i think with some nice ported 243 heads and good cam/intake this could be a nice torquey street engine. I like it cause it is a very good price at only $3000 has anyone heard of this company or bought one of these shortblocks. I thought it was a good deal. Tell me your options please!

Or for $600 more have a 427!!

they are sponsers and they do seem like they give you the most for your money. Like you said that iron 427 for 3600 is a killer deal and you won't find that many cubes anywhere else for that kind of money. Other places 3600 just get you into a 408. I haven't heard much about their quality but i think because they are a sponsor they can't have to many complaints.

If you dont mind the little extra weight of the iron that 427 is a killer deal. I'm thinking of doing that iron 427 with ported L92's and a L76. That would be a bad *** 530+ hp combo easy on a pretty small budget. The only thing I would like to know if that kind of bore and deep stroke could hold up to a 150 or 200 shot of nitrous.
