Dart 205's on a 408? are these to small? I have them already, if money was no object I'd spring for some TFS 235's and mill them down to 64cc. these are BONE STOCK darts, I would of course have them cleaned up a bit, which I have heard makes a drastic difference with these heads. rest of the setup SCR 12:1 DCR 8.55:1 iron block 4.030 diamond 6cc dish callies compstar rods callies compstar crank 248/252 .625/.625 112 +2 HS rockers morel lifters fast 90/90 42lb inj. Meizere EWP TSP 1 7/8" headers TSP true duals w/ bullets what kind of power could I expect to make with these heads? or will it just choke the motor ? I also plan on a healthy shot of spray on top...2 stages. Chad |

The 225's are a much better choice on a 4.0" bore. |

There are a couple of place that can make these work, but as they stand I think they would hold back a motor that size. |

That is one person who I had in mind although he prefers the 225's as the starting point but he would be worth contacting. |
Tough spot. If the rest of your setup didn't look so nice I would say get a VJ and run them......Damn.....Maybe see if you can get a deal on some used AFR 225's and sell the Darts......Or a new set of Dart 225's are reasonable but sometimes they need a lot of VJ work as is so.....I dunno..... |

I'm really thinking about just biting the bullet, saving up some more dough and getting the right heads...TFS 235's milled  but then that brings up another question...I know alot of guys mill these heads down and don't suffer any loss of flow, but how low is "to low" ? Chad |

In the long run TFS will not disapoint you. This way you will never be second guessing yourself or be dissapointed when you get your timeslip. Smart move:D Believe me that SUCKS!!

Im sure he does awesome work.. He wanted 2G's to do my 205's, at that cost, and the cost I paid for them you could get a really top notch set of heads. Chad |
FMS does some work to them as well... The quoted a little lower but still too much for the HP I would pick up. |
