Default Cam for stock 03 Vette with t56

I just bought a 03 vette and am wanting to put a small cam in it. I am just looking for a good sound and a little more Hp nothing serious. Don't want to change anything except cam. Thanks

You'll also want better valve springs, and probably stronger push rods too.

As said above you can go to Texas Speed, Venegance racing and Thunder racing and get a cam kit it has the cam, springs and pushrods I believe. I would say either TSP 224 or 228 or Venegance VRX2 or VRX3 and Thunder Racing TR224 or TR228

regardless of what cam you put in you REALLY have to do springs. stock are barely enough for stock cam.

i say the 224 cam

Anytime you change cams, it is a must to change springs and pushrods. Even something mild like a 224 XE cam require a new spring along with it. We always recommend chromoly pushrods as well with anything with a more aggressive ramp rate than stock. It's just some added insurance in the event you miss a gear or tag the limiter hard.

What does your car currently have done? Does it have any induction or headers? Let me know and we can get you fixed up with a cam for your setup and get the sound and performance you are looking for!
