How long does Cam only keep you guys happy Just like the title says. I am wondering you guys that went cam only, how long are you satisfied with the power level? I really want to go cam only with the supporting bolt ons but i want to make sure I will be happy with the power for awhile. Let me know your thoughts.

i've had it for about a year but the car hasn't been going to the track lately so not as exciting. I'm adding fast 92/92 soon and 4.30's so i dont know. I'm sure the cam only record guys loved it because you need some time to get up there.

Piecing together turbo kit within a year or so.
As with all modding... it's damn hard to stop. I could easily have finished the setup with the FAST treatment and some nice Cartek heads, but it wouldn't be enough.

I have been cam only for almost 3 years now and am just now thinking about adding heads and intake. Apparently I can leave it alone longer than these other guys, lol.

LMAO CAM only bs...its funny how everybody who is CAM ONLY is running ported tb, heads, intake, under drive pullys ...hey man just do yourself a favor and get ahold of a sponsor and they will help you get THE cam you need... dont fall into this donkey dick world of odd ball named cam's...i am not saying that they dont work...just that every application is different...thats why there are so many to choose from..due to their being a slew of different applications..JMO

I think the only thing that keeps me from adding onto my trex cam is fear of damaging an already very reliable and decently powerful set up. If it aint broke I aint fixin it.

Thanks for all the input, seems like a cam doesnt suffice for that long. Are all of you guys track guys? I will go to the track maybe once a year to see what it does. My car is more of a cruising car, I put 5000 miles on my car last summer and I bought it in the end of July.

I put a T-Rex in a military guy's '02 SS. He had an intake and some exhaust work done but other than that it was bone stock. The car made 422rwh and 40Xrwt. When you get beyond this point things start to get a lot more expensive and require a lot more upkeep. A ballbusting cam only cruiser that'll make you smile every time you mash the gas is easily achievable.

I have had my cam only with bolt-ons since last Friday. Got tired of the old power and love the cam with only driving it a few days! But of course just like always it starts to feel slow again so you buy more! Hoping to get an intake, UD pulley, and yella terras before I go with heads!
