Wanting to add a cam but need some info

Ok so I want to add a cam to my car but not knowing what is best, i have searched allot on here and still not knowing what to get. My car is a 2001 camaro ss ,long tube headers, and soon to come true duals the rest is stock as far as i know. I am seeking out for some info to line me up with the right cam. the car is a daily driver as of right now. Im not tring to build a super car. just want the mustangs to know not to mess with a ss lol. but i am looking to be right around 400-450 rwhp and not looking to put allot of money it to it any recommendations will help. also not looking to replace heads as of right now. but what i need to know is what kind cam with head parts will be right for me. thanks

In my thread thats one of the cams im looking at. Any reason why you chose that one over the MS3 or Torquer 2?

you said daily driver as of right now, but are your plans to keep it a DD or sacrifice that for a car that may not really be DD material?

i would like to get another car so i dont rack the miles up on the camaro and i'm just looking for something to go out on the weekend or the strip and have some fun like i said like 400 450 rwhp is what im looking to get. what i need to know is what will get me there with a cam and what king of springs to get and ex ?? No heads as or right now not in my budget as of now.

The Thunder Racing T-Rex cam has proven numbers over 400 and also I don't know if you are familiar with the Tick Performance Polluter Cam? Both have proven themselves very well! Check out the cam only dyno thread and see what people are running and putting to the ground.

Not much info is it an m6 or a4? What gears? My first suggestion would be custom specd cam. But I have seen alot of good results from the TR230
