just bought a 99 ta with a comp cams 224/224/112 so the kid i bought it from said he said it s got a custom tune just wondering about cold start up will not idle for about three minutes u have to hold it at 1k for the first 3min the kid said its bc of the cam just wondering if anybody had any impute thanks

Sounds to me like a very shitty tune unless it has to do something with the IAC or something. You need to get that thing monitored through hptuners or something and then go from there. A 224 shouldn't be that bad of a cam even on a stock tune. He may not had it tuned for the driveability. I let my vrx3 clone cam warm up but I cut it on then the rpms drop one time and then it's at idle
