Default What is the cam position activator circuit? Or anything related...

Car is throwing P0020 code. It idles fine, but when I try and drive anywhere, it almost feels like it is running on 4 cylinders. It runs rough and it sounds like someone is playing a snare drum. It through another code, p2008, which came up as Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit/Open Bank 1.

Car ran fine up until one morning when this started..

I posted in the PCM Diagnostics section, but since the code was cam related, I figured I would try here.

What year and model is this? Most of the info I can find on that P0020 code relates to VVT/VCT equipped vehicles.
