Default Do stock Z06 heads have spring seats?

I bought some used 243s off an 02 Z06 vette with the yellow springs and hollow valves and from what I can tell they don't utilize spring seats like my 241s do. I'm worried that when I swap my comp 918 springs in that it's gonna cut up the aluminum head, any thoughts?

They need seats or the spring will eat up the aluminum heads like you said.

Sounds to me like whoever had those might have taken them out to put on their new heads and put the stock springs back in place to save a few bucks.

The spring seat is integrated with and a part of the valve guide seal unless someone has installed the older seals on them.

word.

A new spring kit should come with at least seats, springs an retainers, and should come with locks, and seals.
