Judging from this post, it's obvious that you need to put your combination selection in the hands of an experienced engine builder.

To answer your question, I wouldn't even use that size cam in the 408's I build, much less a 347ci motor.

Daaaayum!
Insane duration figures for such a cubically inched challenged engine. That's a lot of cam. Sounds like you are building a track only engine...

That should make good power around 8000+ rpm's. Of course, the intake manifold unless you are running a super vic will run out of breath long before then.

You may want to think of going solid roller at this point. I bet you have to run 101 octane after that setup.

Way too big for a 347. Plus with your heads milled as much as they are, you would need massive flycutting.

maybe in a solid roller with more compression...also a ported victor...I won't mind giving it a try...but I would have light weight valve train and have to spin the **** out of it... still would probably stay on the 250s

my 239/243 made nice power for the ported fast I have...pretty close to the same setup but I have stock bottom end, flycut and 215 TFS, right around 11.9 to 1

put 485 rwhp through a locked a4, 4.10 12 bolt
