Default head milling Q's?

Every single machine shop around me keeps saying the intake wont line up correctly if you mill the 317 heads .030. anyone else heard about this? im wanting to mill them down to bring my compression up so im not changing out my pistons so i can boost next year.

is this total bs or what? these are the same guys saying that I need to replace the freeze plugs on the SIDE of my block(LQ4).

long story short im trying to get the comp up to 11.0 ish:1. any ideas here?

not sure if the 317 heads are different in the ways of milling, but I have my AFR's milled to bump my LQ4 compression up to 11.2:1

Anyone else have info on milling the 317 heads? Someone's gotta know something since they flow the same as the 243's.
