I wouldn't recommend running that thin of a head gasket, as the suggested MINIMUM quench is around .032 (and I believe that's for a strip setup, a street car should have more), and remember our pistons come out of the block an average of .005-.008.

In turn, you'd have .030-(.005-.008) = .022-.025 quench distance! Yikes! Run a bit thicker head gasket perhaps, maybe around .040 if it will fit/work with your setup.

For everyone that runs the 228R how many of you guys wish you had gone with something bigger? Im looking to buy a cam thats got a lopey idle and made for the street, ocassionally the strip.

I'd go 112 LSA for more lope
