Default Low Oil Pressure

i did a h/c swap and installed a ported oil pump anyways pressure was fine after the swap then i got a custom gauge from 6litereater so i had to remove the needles to install the gauge now i have low oil pressure could it be that when i installed the needles back maybe its not reading right. I also removed my intake to paint it so maybe i broke the oil pressure sending unit but wouldnt that give me 0 oil pressure the gauge shows like 15 at idle. is there any other way to check the oil pressure? i appreciate any help i get guys.

Put a manual gauge on it to verify your actual oil pressure. Reset your dash gauge needle accordingly.
