A broken, cracked, or deteriorated seal can cause oil pressure issues that can be difficult to trouble shoot! Double check it before you throw it back on there!

I would never re-use that part. Not that it can't be, but for $15, it is cheap piece of mind that if my oil pressure is crappy, I know its not that stupid gasket. When I was transferring parts to the 408, the old one only had about 5K miles on it from when I replaced it in the H/C swap. I went ahead and replaced it again. The gasket was flat and those bolts were previously torqued and not overtightened. Go ahead and get a new one.

If you go new, the new part has countersunk screws, not hex head. You need new screws as well and the torque value is different. The one in my photo above is no longer made.
That is the reason I kept my old one after inspecting it. Some guys have found their plates with the countersunk holes (new design) cracked where the screws are. Some have found them cracked from the factory.

P/N: 12556437
This is what the diagrams below show. I am not sure if GM gave the countersunk version a new P/N, I would think so, then the listed P/N may be unobtainable, and hopefully they would link to the new P/N.
The P/N for the std hex head bolts are P/N: 11515756. If the dealer was definitely on their game, they will list the new chamfered bolt P/N with all of this, I would like to this so. If you follow the link, #157 is the cam retainer plate and in it's description has the recommended bolts for that P/N. If you could find the new cam retainer plate P/N, you can enter it into the site below, and it's description should give you the corresponding bolt P/N.
I hope some of the adderall infested rambling was of some help.
