Default which heads used afr 205s or prc 2.5 ls6

These are going on my 2001 z06 stock ls6 with 231/237 585/595 112 cam with fast 90/90 25% under drive pulley, Lg long tubes with x pipe and B&B prt exhaust. IM debating between holding out for a nice set of 62cc afr 205 heads or just buying a set or prc 2.5 ls6 heads. I have seen several sets of the afr heads sell for $1400-1700 on here in the past few months so the price is pretty close. Which head would work best with the cam I already have?

im sure everybody will say AFR as far as quality and performance. but its tough to beat the performance and price for those PRC heads.

Here's another idea to toss out at ya. We're running $200 off all PRC Aftermarket casting heads next week. That puts a set of PRC 215 or 227 heads at $2200. If you order them without springs you'd be under $2000 for a brand new fully cnc set of heads...

Just something to kick around!

I'm sure that cam would work great with 205s (or the other heads mentioned). Pat G spec'd a cam specifically for my 62cc AFR 205s and it happens to be very close to your cam specs (mine's a 232/237 .61X"/.61X" on a 113+4 LSL lobes). I need to hit the dyno again now that I've got a ported 90/90 setup with more timing on there but I hope to hit around 460RWHP/410RWTQ.

Also unless you're very easy on it you're going to want a new clutch. My LS6 clutch was slipping within the first 1K miles of me going with the H/C/I and it only had 30K miles on it total.
