Default Any pros/cons of a 112 vs 114 lsa with M6

I've seen some used cams at a good price on here lately but have been with a 114lsa. I thought the rule of thumb was a 114w/ A4 and 112 and lower w/M6?

I was looking into the R1 and the G5x-3. What do you think? I'm not decieded on either cam but just somemore info. Any and all info would be great...hp#'s and times maybe? Pros and cons with a M6?

TIA

Alan

There will be very little difference. Most cams are slightly off anyways. Some 114 are really 113 or 115. In theory the 112 will have a harder time passing smog but it gratly depends on the overlap. The 112 may peak 100 rpms sooner and idle a little rougher. Good luck

with a big cam like the R1 and x3 on the 114 you'll have an easier time to tune on an m6. like bowtieman said, it really wont make that much of a difference.
