Default anyone running a 228/232 112 LSA cam please come in

Will likely be using this size cam with my AFR heads milled to 62cc. Looking for anyone running this cam to comment on it and possibly post a video.

I just put a trick flow cam in my car, but I haven't started it yet. Should be able to post a vid, dyno numbers, and track numbers here in the next few weeks.

I have 228/232 588/595 XER lobes 112 LSA even....I have mildly ported 243 heads with 2.055 intake valves.

It is in the process of getting fully tuned today ,,,but on just a flash tune the car was easy to drive even in traffic,,,,also it pulled extremly hard from 3000rpm and up. The engine was idling at 950rpm and you can hear the cam lope pretty good ,but it didn't have as much lope as the TSP V2 with 112 LSA,,but I think thats because it wasn't fully tuned yet.

I will be getting my car back this afternoon

Who's cam are you refering to?

I'm about to install a cam motion 228/232 .612/.612 113+4 soon. I will post results when I have them.

You think the tune will make it lope more? Also, doesn't adjusting the idle make it lope more? I would love to run a bit bigger cam, something like the Torquer V.3, but I don't want to flycut, so a 228/232 112 LSA is really my biggest option. I like the fact that the cam pulls hard in the lower RPM's, but I want the cam to sound good too. I really like the way the Torquer V.3 sounds and performs. Deffinately post up a video when you can.

Not refering to any brand. I want the lobes to be the XE-R, so who would you recommend?

I spoke to my tuner this morning and he said that my computer was still using the factory timing so my guess is thats why it didn't have alot of lope to it.
It should have alot more lope after he finishes fully tuning my car this afternoon. It should also pull earlier in the RPM range to once fully tuned.

Also I orderd my cam from TSP threw there custom cam option.

My '99 Vette is running a 232/232 112 w/ trick flow heads. Sounds great and still maintains awesome drivability.

Well those are Comp lobes so basically anyone can get them but I would recommend going through a sponsor on here..

Yeah I run the "as cast 220's" and can't say enough good things about them... Brian worked them a bit too so that helps me...

I have a 228/230 on a 112. I think it has plenty of lope.. Here is a vid of it, don't mind the startup surge because I got that tuned out of it..

does it still have that much lope after you got it tuned or did it calm down a little?

It was tuned then but he didn't have the starup correct. I got that figured out myself. It sounds the same but without the idle hunt
