Default goin 9s with my new motor

im startin my new project which is im putting a iron block 415 stroker with ls3 intake ,ported l92 heads and a good sized cam. plus a 150 shot of nitrous. im lookin to make around 630 plus hp at the crank without nitrous. Do you think i can do it and ill take advice to. Car already has full bolt-ons ,10 bolt and yank 4000 stall. Im gona shoot for low 10s on motor and high 9s on spray with a race weight of 3400. Will be replacing the 10 bolt with a 12 bolt.

go the nhra website and look up regs. on 9s,or find a rule book at a speed shop.or show up tell them it runs mid 11s and blast off a run and get kicked out for life.fire suit ,shoes, gloves, helmet ,and much more ,it adds up.consider a G-tech unit before going to the strip.

As mentioned I would get the heads flowed, find out how much compression you are running and talk to Pat G or Geoff at EPS and have a custom cam made. From what I have read the L92 heads like a really wide split compared to other LS motors.

Best of luck!
