I run Patriots on my setup. I've seen or ran many different heads and I would say the patriots are only a average port job. But I scored them for $700 used so I couldn't pass up the deal. A little hand porting to pick up where Patriot lacks and now I have no complaints. Car runs like a bat out of hell too and I'm positive it will put down great numbers if I ever get it on a dyno. There's a set of PRC LS6 2.5 heads waiting to go on a 408 motor for one of the locals here and they look nice too. Either way is a good decision in my opinion.

I know this is an old thread, but gosh! Why are people so bias???
Seems people who have patriots like them...People who have PRCs like them.
Texas Speed, what makes you think the Patriot head is so inferior?!?

Search button is your friend. Quailty and performance separates the PRC from Patriot.

Looks like the performance is their to me. Just like tsp. videos proving they perform all over. I have spoke to both company's. Chad at patriot will answer all ur questions. Very nice guy to deal with. Tsp hooked me up with all my exhaust. Great place to deal with also.

I'm leaning more towards Patriot because Summit Racing sells them so I can use the speed card 0% interest.
I just wish I could find some side by side comparison. Why isnt Patirot a Sponsor anymore?

You won't see any side by side comparisons because Patriot doesn't typically send their heads into the magazines for dyno shootouts.
I'll make you a offer. Order both & have them inspected / flow tested by a local shop. If the PRC heads aren't far superior I will gladly refund you in full.
The PRC heads use a newer valve spring design, Manley valves made in America, American made retainers & seats, & cnc valve job fully assembled & milled to your specs at no extra charge.
The internet doesn't typically show the differences because the people that recommend typically only see 1 specific head. You really need to see the two side by side to make a good decision.

I guess I see what ur sayin but for a street car that is driven all the time and is not camed to death. I doubt I'll see to much difference at the track. But I could be wrong. If I were lookin for something that's not a dd I would save more and look into some 215 heads tsp has. Just not what I'm doin with this car.

Thats a good effort on your backing, but who has that kind of money...Not me. After some extensive research...and what from patriot told me...its not worth the money for a few pennys of horsepower IMHO. Patriot told me they got 440hp out of an LS2 with their heads and street cam. I think that sucks for a $2000 investment. People seem to get close to that with just a cam.
