Default Tsunami cam Ls7 lifter - what length pushrods?!

Ended my night terribly... we could hear the pushrods falling when we turn the car off. we originally thought it was bad lifters.. im pissed i didnt think about that to begin with.. what size will put us in the right ballpark without buying a tester and wasting a week? we have 7.4 now

Update (6/22):
They are actually 7.425" Pushrods
Ordered Comp Cams Pro Magnum lifters
Install has begun

Update (6/22) PART 2:
Pulled the valve covers and found broken rockers!! Didn't even think about those, but it makes sense.. that was the last part that was stock

Some suppliers (Summit Racing being one) will let you return unused parts within 90 days for full credit. You could order several sizes and return ones you do not use. (They also sell measuring pushrods cheap.)

I used 7.375. But that was with Stage 2.5 LS6 heads milled to 62cc.

yea i was reading up that with stock ls1 lifters, tsp recommends 7.425.. which i just realized i have! the ls7 cup is .060 higher then ls1s - so id essentially need like 7.365 or so. With that said, these lifters must be DEADER then dead. I just ordered comp cam pro magnums 2nd day air. Gonna pull the engine apart over the weekend and pray the cam and pushrods are fine

with that big of cam you need to get the valve train geometry right.stock trunnions don't work well with a radical cam like that.what rockers are you going to install ?

If you have rockers spitting the bearings out that quick, you have something wrong. Is this a dual spring kit? Did you use the valve spring seats and seals from the spring kit, or did you reuse the stock spring seat and seals?

I am unable to answer that question right now Joe. I can tell you this though - they were sitting all winter with no oil in the garage (both lifters and rockers). The LS7 lifters did in fact collapse as well. It was a giant mess in there. Luckily and amazingly theres little to no damage at all. New lifters and Rockers are going in today. I already have hardened pushrods and everything.
