Drivers side ground wasn't connected?

I was replacing my 4l60e with an aftermarket 4l60e. When putting in the new trans I found that the ground on the drivers side of the block was not connected. I have no idea how long this hasn't been connected. I can only assume it happened during or after I replaced the heads.

What issues could this have caused?

Come on people.... if you went and disconneted that ground wire on your car... what issues would you have?

probably nothing since the harness shares the grounds when it reaches near the ecm.If something didnt have a ground on a sensor then the ecm would have given you a code by now due to a fault in the circuit.I wouldnt worry about one missed grounding point.
