Default questions aboout my arp bolts

hey i have a 02 ss and a while bak i baught som arp bolts on my ls1 when i did my cam swap and now i took the motor out and now im goin lq9 from a 06 escalade engine with a cam.my question is can i us my same arp head bolts with the lq9 heads and if i can what are the specs to touque them any suggestions will help thanks.

The short answer is no. You have ARP 134-3609, which has different size bolts, and fits pre-2003 LS engines. You need ARP 134-3610 (assuming you are using the 2006 block), which has bolts that contains bolts uniform in length. There may be some overlap. In other words, some of the bolts you have may be the right length, but not all.

I would call ARP for their latest torque spec since they change from time to time.

Call ARP & ask for Zac. Tell him you need the outer studs to go from kit #3609 to kit #3610. I'm pretty sure it'll be 8 new (longer) studs, everything else should be the same.

Nope, the older kit has the long bolts, the newer kit would be all short bolts. So he would need to get new short bolts to replace his old long bolts.
