700 rwhp
Im olnly at 659/715rwtq and on my first pass it broke the carrier on the eaton posi in a strange 12 bolt locking up the rear end and in turn snaping the input shaft on a viper spec t56. Using an origianl McLeod twin disc. Since then I have went to a S60 with a powerlock and a stock T56 with no problems. Traction is hit and miss depending on track conditions but the prep on my tracks best day is worse than most tracks on a bad day. Not the best idea for competitive bracket racing but it's a lot of fun. You will need a good rear sway bar, good shocks, and subframe connectors at the least. A slipper clutch can make a world of difference if your building a race only car.

flip a coin on the tranny. 9in FTW because of the front pinion bearing that holds the pinion from deflecting. mcleod twin discs are nice. get aftermarket torque arm to set pinion angle, LCA's, panhard rod, and DEFF. SFC's (weld-in)

OP: my cat makes 740 / 760. You're gonna need a standard built t56. Many sponsors sell them. Base package is good for 700 hp. As for a clutch, do not and I repeat do NOT waste money on a mcleod. I've owned a 500hp 427, 600 wheel 454, and a 750 HP turbo car. and all with Mc leods at one point that completely failed. Get a tex twin and never look back.

Just Joking with yea!
Anyways, when it comes to your request. Talk directly with a transmission builder, see some of the Sponors, they will give a straight answer. To be honest what race weight IMO matters as there is a big diff from C5/6's and Zo6's then a heavier Fbody and the power is not rolling in, rather you got a big hit coming which can totally change what shock the driveline sees.
IF I every get to that level, a T-56 is now what I would be using so I have researched this but talking a transmission builder would be my advice.

I was over 700RWHP on my 6-speed but I bent the output shaft once and I lost a coupld of teeth from one of the gears. My clutch held up like a **** without issues. It was a McCleod Twin disk. Never gave up and never failed to grab. I think a synchro went bad on it also but new ones were put in anyway when I had it rebuilt.
