Default tsp 231/237 cam ? and comp 978 springs ??

Right now i am running a tr 224/224/112 cam and i am considering upgrading because i am puttin on my as stg 2 5.3 heads soon ... My question is would the tsp 231/237 cam be a good upgrade over the 224 tr cam and would comp 978 springs be enough for that cam ??

I went from a 222/222 112 cam to the TSP231/237, and there was a noticable increase in power (about 15 ponies). I'm still using the Comp 918's installed for the smaller cam. Dual springs would be better insurance, but the soft lobe profile of the 231/237 (less than XE grind) make it easy on springs despite its high lift.

The camshaft you have is a great cam no doubt! We have done swaps from 224 camshafts. The last a4 car picked up a additional 14.x rwhp unlocked Also drop me a IM & I will discuss with you some of the new camshafts coming
