Driving to get Tune

Will it be ok to drive my car to get a tune 35 miles with prc stage 2 5.3 heads, ls6 intake and ms3 cam? Or do I have to get it towed?

Go easy and it should be fine. It may drive like crap though :D

U should be fine, is it hwy or stop n go city stuff?..I was lucky, and it was all hwy when i did my swap..just saw u are running a M6, that will b a lil more easy..good luck!

Mostly highway. Yea its a m6 with a brand new monster stage 5. Will be interesting. Actually the whole car has all new suspension, brakes, wheels and tires. Should be really interesting to see how it drives with all new components. Drove the car home to its death and pretty much rebuilt it.

I think u should b okay man..me having an A4 an tryn to get it around b4 the tune was crazy..i was glad it was pretty much open hwy to the tuner...couldnt imagine how bad it would of been if i didnt install the stall converter when i did the cam swap..

Yea I think the biggest problem will be the clutch. Been a while since I've driven a stick other than my dads truck to the store and stuff. Plus it's brand new and not broken in yet which will be nice dealing with cause Monster's like to be broken in.

You will be fine, just go real easy. Mine stalled 3 times on the way there with heads and Torquer V3....drive sucked but I made it.

you should have done the clutch first and let it get broken in first. clutches like easy driving to break in and the stress of getting tuned is probably not good for it.

I would say you are fine - friend of mine had similar set up and it wasn't bad at all.

If you changed injectors dont drive it and be sure to break that clutch in before you put any stress on it. Thats a lot of clutch to not take care of!

Well couldn't do the clutch first as the previous motor was bad so I am doing everything at once. And previous clutch was supposedly on it's way out as it had 155k miles on it.

Stock Injectors are going in it but will have 42lb's for the tuner to put in cause I know it will need it.
