408 lq4 rocker clearance issue

408 lq4 rocker clearance issue installed yella terra adjustable rockers on 408 with hot cam. added a 3/4" spacer that had to be modified around adjustment nuts and still had the nut whackin my valve cover. can i remove the pcv shield on the valve cover or should i just mill holes for clearance?
