I also have a couple of questions. Will I need to replace the gaskets on my ls6 intake or are the ones that are on it right now be ok. I know I will be replacing the lifters while I'm in there so what all do I need and if there is any links to a head swap I greatly appreciate it. Also I need one coil from an 2008 tahoe. One more thing how do you use a pushrod checker on an ls1 or any engine for that matter. I have one but have never used it.

Gaskets are reusable buy replace for insurance against leaks.
LS7 lifters, LS2 lifter trays.
Ls1howto.com look at "head swap" for step by step
Why do you want truck coils? Proven to have no gain and they are different on an 08 I believe anyway.
Insert solid lifter in tray and put head on block with pushrod checker in. Adjust to zero lash and count turns to see the right size.

Im not really familiar with those without seeing them. Simple answer, try it and see... Bolt the coil tray to the valve cover and see if the old coils will fit. They should but im not certain. If not you can use the new coils but the connectors might be different idk.
And everything as listed above is a must for the swap plus obviously push rods once you determine the length. Also a good idea to check ptv clearance and upgrade the trunion bearings if using stock rockers.

I completely agree, I hate when people do a full head and cam swap and then try to cheap out and reuse something cheap and then have it come back and screw them in the long run.
