Default Patriot 228/224 112LSA cam?

I'm in the process of trying to pick out a good cam that i can run with a stock tune and still make good power. I've heard real good stuff about the Hotcam but i've also heard bad stuff. I was wondering about Patriots 228/224 cam 112LSA with close to .600/.600 lift. If this isn't a good cam, then any suggestion. it needs to be about the same price range too, i think that cam goes for $300. i will be having pacesetter LT put on soon. also getting a tc-(suggestions?). thanks

That looks like a good cam, but you may not get it running well on a stock tune and an A4. Either tune, or go with something like a TR224 on a 114.

Terry is going to offering some cams very soon. I'm going to do some testing on some of these in the next few weeks. Maybe he'll chime in and give everybody the lowdown.

With a "stock" tune, you should probably stay around 210, 475, and 116.
