1997 corvette altinator?how do I get it to work?? 1997 corvette alternator,how do I wire it up to make it work without pcm???i been searching all Over the forum and I seem to get conflicting information!i called S&P performance and mark there told me pin D goes to solid 12 volts and pin C goes to 12v switched on by key!!is this correct??
Based on that you could replace Pin C with a solid 12 volt wire or piggy off Pin D. You might have a little better feedback on EXTERNAL engine, as this is an accessory. Good luck
Yes rules , rules ,,,,,,,,,,,not only is this thread in the wrong section/forum but You should'nt double post ,,,,,,reason is LS1 Tech has well over 200,000 members and 12 or 13 million posts so ram or whatever are a constant problem for them from what they say and I can believe it . Autozone sells a voltage reg for an older Chevy for about $15 . It will have wirng instrutions with it .
First , what's the symptoms and what happened with the alt ,,,,,,what led You to believe the volt reg in the PCM is bad ?????
