How much power did you gain from stock heads to the patriots? That cam should make 380-390rwhp with all boltons by itself easily, especially with the electric w.p. and other b.s. included. There is definately a problem somewhere.. Do you throw any codes?

i have to agree there is still a bug in there somewhere...you should dyno somewhere in the 420 range IMO if not higher than that even with a vette. Id try and figure out the issues before moving to a different cam to be honest.

Yeah, there's something wrong with the current setup. Do you have a baseline dyno of what the car did before any mods were done?

You should be well over 415 RWHP with that setup without the EWP.

Dynos have an easy 2- 3% variance in my opinion..I'd suggest dynoing someplace else if you want 400 rwhp.. (2-3% is 8 to 12 rwhp)

Test on the dyno with coolant temp at no higher than 190 degrees and oil temps at around 210 degrees..and you'll dyno at 400 rwhp..

I also happen to believe that for every 5 degrees of coolant temp over 192 degrees you should loose ~3-5 hp..IMHO

I got my car dyno-tuned at TSP and got 405rwhp/385ft/lbs with mods in sig. I am also looking to upgrade to a bigger streetable cam to raise my tq as well as my hp curve.

Peace

BTW..the 3.90 rear gears often drop hp by a few ponies on the dyno as well as do the titanium Z06 cat backs ...(about 5 I'd bet from my readings on the net) Check out and ask Hcvone as he found 5 ponies from going to an aftermarket cat back vs. the stock Z06 ti.

Enjoy the car..

Did have the timing retarded for nitrous at the time of the dyno? What is your take on the 224? Do you minf more lope? Futral Motorsports has a 228/228 that several people of fond of because it has great drivability for the amount of power. Obviously, I have no personal experience with this cam but several locals are running it. TSP 231/237 is a good choice if you want a little extra. I am going through the same thing as you, and I'm looking at the TSP cam. I haven't quite gotten around to it yet due to some personal circumstances which I am overcoming right now, but thats my next move.. and probably a wise one for you too if you don't mind a little more lead in your pencil (who does?)

Futral F13 (230/232 112) <-- this is a nasty cam as well.

Theres really too many too chose from.. just get whichever of these you can get a good deal on.. hehe, all of them should outperform your previous numbers.
