The 231/237 is from www.texas-speed.com they also offer mail order tuning. I ran their 231/237 cam with one of their mail order tunes with great results.

Obviously you will get more out of the TSP 231/237 than the Thunder Racing TR224. it is bigger.

The TR24 comes from Thunder Racing.

Better performance will come from the 231/237.

Beign in California it might now be inspection friendly. Might wait for more info but I believe that a 224 cam will be the limit for ya.

If you have to pass smog, you might look at the TR224 on a 114 LSA.

yea i agree with tha smog issue...but it might be a good idea to get a nice big cam and then every 2 years swap it out wit the stock cam...to pass and then when i do put back in the big cam i could buy new springs and stuff and make sure nothing is badly weared out...its jus time and patients...thanks for the info guys...so tr224 to pass smog and 231/237 if i don't care basicly lets see what the #'s will show with a 231/237 and some ported heads will be like...ill send in a clip in about a week...thanks again everyone

Or, you could move to Texas and not worry about it.
