ticking noise

I got a 2002 Camaro Z28 has 71000 on it and no mods that im aware of. When i start my car I hear a ticking noise coming from the engine bay. I asked my neighbor what he thought and he was saying it could be one of the lifters or some shit idk. Any ideas? thanks for the help

If it only happens on a cold start and then goes away once it's warm, then it's just piston slap. VERY common with these cars. Don't worry about it.
