Default How To Remove Knock Sensor's

How Do U Remove The Knock Sensor Do U Have To Have A Specal Tool To Remove Or What I Am In My Grage Installing A Cam Right Now And I Need Help W The Knock Sen To Continue W Work So Please Help Asap

you dont need to remove the valley cover or knock sensors for a cam install. you can use some plyers to get them out though.

I use a pair of pliers or channel-locks to squeeze the wide sides of the plastic to disconnect the harness from the knock sensors. It's kind of like those pill bottles where you need to squeeze opposing sides of the lid, and then turn - except you pull up instead.

I then use a large socket & extension to remove them. I don't recall the socket size.
