Yes. Just torque to spec. Some put lock tite. I just torque mine.

Its a good idea to use loctite on the cam gear bolts. I use red loctite myself. There is a thread on here that will show you what happens when those bolts back out. It's not pretty. Loctite is very cheap insurance.

You can, yes. And as everyone else has said, LOCTITE THEM.

But at 5 or 6.99 for ARP's.... Why not get them? Aaron at TSP can hook you up.

For the minimal price, use ARP bolts on the cam gear and cam retainer plate. It's like 11 bucks total.

Make sure that the treads are clean and dry before you use loctite.

This is a must or the loctite wont do its job. Unfortunately, alot of people wont take the time to do this, and then wonder why the loctite didnt work.
