Yes, I think you're both correct.

The Max Pressure can be used with stock rockers, as long as it's a track only car that is driven very little. As that much open pressure is hard on valve tips. It also helps to use oil with the extreme pressure zinc additives.

The Platinum and Extreme springs are only 400 lbs open so they can be used with stock rockers. Although I still recommend oil with zinc additives, and keep the lift below .630" for maximum valve tip durability.
