What's the biggest size for smog
My engine has to get rebuilt and I would like to get the most from it but still pass smog can i build a 422 with a small cam and swap out long tubes every 2 years or what ?

I would say if you have to do a roller test, you will have to do cats and possibly even do a cam swap (take your big cam that you will actually want out and put something small/stock cam in) when its time to go test.

The 224/224 114 LSA cams seem to be passing smog in Ca without much of a problem. My Tr 220/220 .553/.553 113.4 LSA cam just passed smog on Thursday without any tuning.
If it were me, I would put a huge cam in, and then when smog time came around I would put the stock cam back in.
