But Im now thinking of getting a yellow top and try it out.
LMAO, I have 3 Red Tops, they do a 2 year rotation. I threw an older one in now and see if it works. I have one in my 1969 C/10 that seems to have held a charge for a bit so that the one I threw in there. While driving I can see the Volt Gauge just slowly dip below 13 and on. Oh well, still driving the **** out of the new cam, ha. Just may need a jump if I turn it off at the moment.

Yeah, I realized the time zone difference too late for it to matter yesterday, but couldn't have called before you closed anyway. I'll give you a call a little later today.

I am planning on purchasing the stage 2 with a set of PRC as cast 225's small chamber 62cc.

What CR should I run with either cam? Stock bottom LS1

Yes, we almost always install a UD pulley at the same time as the camshaft install. It's right there in front of your face so may as well do it! You may also need a larger injector as well. I'd look to at least a 36 lbs/hr or a 42 lbs/hr to cut out the guess work of, "will my stock injectors work"?

With the 227/235 110+3 Stage 2 I like to see a 62cc combustion chamber at the smallest with a .040" Cometic head gasket for increased quench. That will be a very nice combo, we are currently doing a GTO right now with the PRC 225cc As cast heads, V.2 Polluter 111lsa and a Fast 92 for a customer right now.

They reduce the load it takes to drive your accessories, essentially freeing up power.

The one downside to this is that your alternator and water pump will be underdriven and sometimes that can cause issues with cooling or electrical charging. I stress sometimes.

So if I already have horrible voltage issues I shouldn't do that mod? lol

i didnt notice any coolant temp drop or electrical drop on my gauges compared to stock.
1 thing it did do was lighten my wallet but i did it anyways.
Im pretty sure it did do something cause i did most of my mods at once..so im assuming maybe 5-10hp? hoepfully.

I have an aftermarket system(sub, amp, HU), aftermarket tach light. After my battery from over the winter took a dump, I have had zero issues. And I run an Under drive pulley.
