IDK why, but I have seen the power loss from people switching from 92/92 to 102/102 with my own eyes. Have also seen a difference of about 5hp +/- on separate builds swapping over from a ls6 intake. The 102 is another $850, but keep in mind you need another 102 tb, bigger bellow, bigger maf (or ditch it with speed density tune), bigger lid.. and fast fuel rails. If you want to swap over to the 102/102, consider it as the final touches to your build. Whatever gains you get, if any, wont justify the cost of buying one.

Try switching to speed density tune, ditch the pacesetter headers/y pipe combo for a proven 1 7/8 headers, true duals/proper y merge setup, and UDP first. See the gains there, you got alot left on the table.

you dont need a 102mm throttle body for a fast intake

theres plenty of people running ported 90mm stock TB's and texas speed will tell you they dont see any hp gain between the 92 and 102mm TB's until you are pushing stupid HP.

Ive also seen power loss going to the bigger intakes but typically only on stock heads. I would think he would still gain power with those heads.

I agree that you could go with an elec water pump and UD pulley if you dont already have them. Then tune the **** out of it.

Ever thought of going FI?

solid roller cam would make it easy.

but really a better exhaust setup, electric water pump, underdrive pulleys, getting the heads "hand finished", lighter wheel/tire combination, lighter flywheel, lighter driveshaft, also using lighter oil. All ways to pick up some ponies on the dyno.
