Need Help Deciding on Idle for Tune

I have a 98 trans am. Tomorrow I will be getting it tuned. It has 243 heads, 224R cam, and a full exhaust. I like a good lope at idle. It's idling around 900 rpms right now. No problem driving it. Will 700 rpms set idle work? Manual 6.

I was told it would be too low and may stall. Mine is at 900

I'd prolly shoot for 1-200 over stock (sorry don't know what that is in an M6). If it gives you any issues you can always raise it up some.

My auto has to be around 800-900 at mininum or the surging will stall it out.

Stock M6 800rpm idle should be no problem with a 224R.
