Default Is the FM4 a daily driver cam?

I am realy leaning towards this cam after doing a little more research. I only want to do a cam swap one time How much power do you think it will make, and is it possible to get away without tunning it for a little while? Specas are 226/226 575/114

Yes it is streetable. Getting away without tuning I have no clue. Have you spoke with the makers of the cam? Futral Motorsports? That is your best resource for information.

you should be able to stay away from tuning it for a bit but id get it tuned asap because you really dont know what your a/f looks like and you really wouldnt wanna risk blowing up.

It will have idle issues for sure, but you can hold of tuning it for a little.
I just would'nt throw it in & go to the track, I'd want to get it tuned first B-4 pushing it.

I just installed a F10(228) and it idled fine without tuning. Never died even in gear. Tuning is recommend to get the most out of the cam.

I have the FM7 cam which is 224/230 114 with a .587 .593 lift. Its my daily driver, but it needed some tunning to squeeze HP and TQ and make it behave good in traffic. Sometimes when i turn my AC or Heater on my RPM goes up and i never figured out how to solve this problem, but other than that i love this cam.
