ok well my budget is running out after my trans build and i have two options i would like your guys help on

first is PRC 2.5 5.3 heads, TSP 233/239 cam , Fast 102/102, fast fuel rails with fast 57# ls2 injectors (i allready own) Stock rockers ls7 lifters

or

a 500mile used set of PRC 215, Hartland sharp rockers, tsunami cam, Fast 90/92 ls7 lifters, and some new injectors

from all of the reading i have done the power goals are close with in 20-30rwhp i will be spraying around a 100 shot, will be bolted on a ls1 shortblock, car is a 04 gto m6 weekend car will see some track, car cruises,shows and some dd

what do you guys think would be the better pick? would the 90/92 be worth it one the prc 2.5 build? i am almost sick of the $1500 price tag to get the 102 on my car compaired to the 90/92 $700 (used) Really want to see 440-480 or more to the tireN/A from others posted results looks possible?

I'd go for the 2nd one.....difference betwee the 92 and 102 is ony about 5hp. It will get you much closer to your goals.

second one definitly, you could always port the fast later and put out more then a stock 102, also i would take a better set of heads over a better intake any day. much easier to change intake down the road if you feel like it.

I usually shy away from used heads. Unless you know for sure it's a good part and you trust the seller (or can have it checked out ahead of time).

same here! but he took them to the mechine shop and had them looked at has the paper work and told me to call him...? and i have heard bad things about hartland rockers making me shy away from this

I like the 2nd choice,is it a combo off some ones car ?will the tsunami cam fit in your engine with fly cutting the pistons ?what cc are the 215 heads ?

yeah was in a stocl ls1 shortblock , yes they will fit 60cc i belive

PRC 5.3 heads, i like them and made 440/400 with them on a mid size cam 227/235. that was with unported FAST and cutout closed
